The Goombay Festival was created in 1982 to celebrate the richness and diversity of the African diaspora and Asheville’s African American community. Virtuous Music Band will be taking the stage this year with a dynamic set for the community

Virtuous Music is back for another dynamic live set. Last year due to Helene, the festival was canceled but we are excited to share a message of faith, hope, love and identity with the lovely community of Asheville.

Community Family-Friendly Event. Virtuous Music will be providing music, there will be free oven pizza available and special information sharing from the Shiloh Neighborhood Navigator.
